ERP Consultant (MS Dynamics AX)

GEA Refrigeration Technologies (GEA RT) is a successful and growing segment within the GEA Group and specialized in Industrial Refrigeration. It designs, engineers, produces, installs and maintains innovative key components and technological solutions for its customers for whom refrigeration is an essential part in their primary process. In 2010 GEA RT employed approximately 2900 people (in over 40 companies) who generated sales of EUR 566 million.
GEA Refrigeration Netherlands N.V. section: IT, is the IT services company within the GEA RT segment and responsible for the IT of the GEA RT companies. At this moment it employs about 30 people. GEA Refrigeration IT is an informal organization in which teamwork is a natural way of working. One of the main activities is the development, implementation and support of an ERP kernel, based on MS Dynamics AX. In the next few years this kernel has to be rolled out to all companies within the segment.
Within the GEA Refrigeration IT organization located in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, there is a vacancy for an ERP Consultant (MS Dynamics AX).
Your responsibilities
As one of our consultants you will be implementing the kernel at our companies all over the world. Even though you are located in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, a lot of your activities will take place on our customer sites abroad. Next to this roll-out you will be part of the competence center supporting (key) users in using our kernel and you will actively participate in new developments improving this kernel. You will deliver the projects on time, in scope and according to the agreed quality, and monitor the activities of the (key) users. You will ensure that the ERP modules and related add-ons are developed and implemented flawlessly.
Your profile
You have had an ERP consultant role in several ERP implementation- or roll-out projects, implementing MS Dynamics AX. You have a deep understanding of the ERP functions and its integration with other modules. Specialized knowledge of and experience in its finance and/or project functions is a preference. The business processes of a production or contracting/service company are child’s play to you.
You are a hands-on person who likes to work abroad and the English language, and preferably one or more others, are no problem. You are therefore a good communicator and team player. Taking initiatives and delivering as promised is your second nature.
This position is a broad, demanding position, in which personal drive, flexibility and taking initiative is of great importance. The workload within our organization can at times be high and irregular and will expand the 9 to 5 hours. You will frequently travel and visit our customers worldwide.
